The Hawaii trip may be over, but I'm not sad to be home. Frisco is it's own little slice of paradise, and I came home to blue skies, warm weather, and the Frisco BBQ Competition. I find myself taking a more leisurely pace at work, no doubt a product of attaining a state of complete relaxation these past few weeks. Life is about maintaining a balance - in this case of time spent evenly between the things we need to do and the things that make us happy.
This was taken one early morning at Magic Sands Beach, south of Kona. The Hawaiians, though they move at their own pace, don't waste one moment of sunlight as each morning the surfers were out for a morning ride before work.
In case anyone was wondering, the sands are "Magic&Quot; because they aren't always present. Winter tides tend to wash the beach out to see for days or weeks at a time, but somehow always manages to return them later.
